Just got a revo s spinning reel so i got to find a rod to pair it with i was looking at the abu garcia veritas or stcroix mojo bass or any other suggestions also i would like a rod where i can virtually throw any lure from it with no problems probably about a 100 limit thanks

Check out the Shimano Compre. Its my favorite rod in the 100 dollar range. Also keep your eye on the flea market. You can find some killer deals there.

I don't know what size reel you have or what line you plan to use. I used to use 10# mono and now it's 15# braid. Rods in medium power and fast action have served me very well as all-purpose sticks, throwing everything from weightless plastics to cranks and other lures up to 5/8 oz. I'd recommend a similar rod of 6-1/2 or 7'.

I agree, my Medium Fast sticks have served me well when it comes to what your looking for.  Marty is exactly right.  Some would argue MH would be better, but for weightless plastics i suggest Medium power.

I'd check out *** *** 7'1 med, I have one and love it
