Trilene Knot

Any of you guys use this knot?

I am looking for a knot with the tag end towards the hook, away from the rod.

Normally I use the polamar or uni knot. The tag end winds up forming a "grass hook" and I'm fishing a lot of "fine" grass.

I really want to try Flukes "MoJo" rig and thin this may help with the snagging grass problem.

I know that you can hide the knot in soft plastics, and I do, But just the act of casting tends to pull the eye out of the worm, and you can't hide the knot using a jig or other hard baits.

Used it most of my life,great knot with mono. I like the San Diego jam for flouro.

How 'bout if you run the tag end of the line back through the eye, then trim it. Another possibility which I have used a couple of times is to use a tiny drop of crazy or super glue to secure the tag end alongside the line.

I've used it for over 30 years without an issue.

I use the trilene knot exclusively. Its got great breaking strength and easy enough to tie on any type of line. It has never caused me any trouble.

Greatest knot of all time to me!!! I use it for everything, yes everything. You dont need force to tie it and no tag end wasting.

Just discovered it towards the end of last year.  Has become my #1 knot.  #2 is the Palomar for hook to line.

Another option if you're trying to hide the tag is snell the hook then bury the knot and eye into the plastic.

I use it for everything I tie fluoro to. Except my braid to leader knot (alberto), or braid direct to a bait/hook (palomar). I used to use a palomar for tying dropshot rigs to fluoro, but since I started using the VMC spinshot hooks, it's a trilene knot for that too.
