^^^ Improved clinch, not an ordinary clinch ^^^

Braided lines are more about diameter not strength as most of the break well over the number on the package.  If one is using 20# line that breaks at 30#, don't kid yourself, you are using a thin 30# line, which is good.

I meant to say improved clinch.  Its been my go to knot for all my mono fishing.

I agree with SirSnookalot, I've never had a problem with the improved clinch with braid. I switch between that and the palomar knot with the same success.

I know I know....dumb question. But this is my first time using braid and Im having some trouble with the palomar. Any other braided line knot suggestions would be great.
