What Do You Use To Store Your Plastic Baits?

Ive been working on a new tackle bag. I bought the BPS Pro Qualifier (red color, that fits 3700 boxes) Im able to put (7) 3700 boxes actually (all plano utility boxes, different ones). In the past ive been using a worm binder from bass pro. Its okay but I want a more versatile binder or box for my plastic baits (such as rage tails, culprits, bps, etc..). Any ideas of what I could use for storing plastic into? I believe if I wanted to I could store maybe (2 or 3) 3600 boxes onto the side pouches. I want to be able to put an average amount of worms into the boxes or binder. Here below is a link of the bag I got. Sorry no picture.

Thanks for your help!

Also add this note im looking for a box to hold weights and a few hooks? Anyone know of a utility box that would be good for this application?

The Plano 3701's should work for your terminal tackle.  It essentially takes the place of one 3700 and is perfect for hooks, weights etc.

As for worms I bought a BPS Extreme Bag solely for soft plastics.  Fits 20+ bags easily along with 2 tubes of Megastrike.

I have one made by Conquer Outdoors that I got from Wally World that is pretty nice. It actually had a pocket that has worm binder pages in it, and holds 3 370 boxes but you can take a divider out of the top zipper pocket and put another 370 in there as well. I can fit nearly all of my go to lures and gear in there, but I just have too many plastics to not carry my worm binder with me. It also has a few other pockets, and I'm able to put 2 small boxes in one end that has my jigs and cheaper cranks that I use when I know I'm gonna be fishing in areas I know I may get hung up. I'm pretty happy with it so far, but I do have another tackle bag that I got from Academy that's pretty awesome too that's made by Tournament Choice. You can a ton of stuff in there too and it's only $30. Holds 5 370s and various pockets for nearly everything.

I just bought a bps pro qualifier bag about two weeks ago in fishing classic sale at bps. Thanks for the bag, if I ever need another will look at it. I love the bps pro qualifier bag, I just need boxes.

Does this bag fit into the BPS Pro Qualifier bag? I want to just be able to have most of my items in the bag. The bag is very big and roomy. I got room for a worm bag in a side pouch.

I also use the BPS extreme bag for most of my soft platics. I use tupperware containers for the two baits I buy in bulk and I just leave the container on the deck when Im fishing its alot easier to dig them out of the tupperware container then go through three zippers to dig them out of the BPS bag.

I have the same tackle bag and I can see you putting in 7 3700 style boxes if you're using the thin Plano 3700 boxes. That's how I have mine set up. Otherwise I could only put in five.

At any rate, that's my tip. Get some of Plano's thin 3700 boxes for your worms and terminal gear. Should hold enough for at least one day.

Yea I got the thin ones, I was able to put 6 in the middle, five stacked in and one on top of them, and able to close. Then the front pouch im able to put another box. I have all the (7) 3700 boxes used up. Im wondering if you can put like a few 3600 boxes on the side pouches??

I don't put them in there but I would be surprised if you couldn't squeeze at least four in the side pouches and another one in the front. If not the 3600, at least 3500s.

3600 sized boxes are 11 x 7.25 x 1.75". Measure and see. There is a thin version of this box as well if you need it.

I use an empty tackle bag for my plastics. I got the Plano bag with four 3650 boxes during the classic sale. Paid $20. It was a steal for that. I put all the boxes in my current tackle bag to allow room to expand my hard baits and used the empty bag to hold all my plastics. I don't just carry a few of each plastic bait. I keep them in their original zip lock sacks and carry the whole bags. I have too many for just another utility box to hold them, or put a few sacks in a pocket on the bag. So I just made another smaller tackle bag and store them all in it.

I tried using boxes but ended up using several ziplock bags for storing plastics, I have about 4 categorized bags that can fit where one box would

I have a large box from the dollar store / walmart with to clasps on the side. Its large.... 20+" long and as wide as a standard bag. I have no less than 25 bags of plastics in it and thats with plastics condensed into hefty slide ziplocks. Theres no point in taking up the space of three bags when one bag can hold all of the pumpkin/watermellon tubes. The only ones I dont mix with other colors are whites. I also dont mix gulp baits with regular baits.

I got the same as jhoffman just the smaller version.. I picked them up @ the dollar general for about $3.50.. I have a box for different plastics that I labeled with a sharpie. Ex: a box for worms, a box for senkos/finesse worms, craws, lizards, creature baits. But then again i'm a organize fanatic.. This system works well for me because when i go to get a certain bait I know where it is, and i'm not thrashing around trying to find it.

I have the large Browning Toploader bag and have 6 3700s (Deep Cranks, Shad baits, sq bills, traps, topwater, and a flipsider for jigs), 2 3601's (jerk baits and unweighted hooks), 2 3500's (weighted hooks and drop shot equipment), one double sided 3500 series (I think) for weights, and a few of those small 6 slotted 3400s for tungsten weights and trebles. With all of this crammed into the bag I'm still lacking room for soft plastics. I've debated on attaching the XL worm binder to the straps for the rodtube holder. In the past I've used a small boat bag or another soft bag that hols 5 3600 boxes with large side pockets. I want to be me more organized though... I was thinking about getting those large rings from Menards or Hobby Lobby and using those to separate plastics by type using 6 different color coded rings so that would cut my search time by 1/6.

I categorize multiple Ziploc freezer bags and put the soft bait packages in the appropriate one. These are then packed into a tackle bag which I have designated for this.

I have that bag. I put terminal in a 3700 box, crankbaits in a 3700, jigs in a 3700, and all my plastics in gallon ziplock bags. I keep them seperated by style, craw, worm, creature, lizard and so on.
