Hello ALL,

I am looking forward to sharing information with everyone, taking in information, and sharing new baitz/ideas for baits.  I have been coming to BR for some time now and really wanted to add comments so I signed up. Feel free to drop a line or two.

Tight lines and safe boating

Thanks everyone. Hope to share tips and ideas with you all. It's good to see everyone is friendly and not territorial. I am pumped for a tournament coming up next weekend.

Anyone have tips for prespawn bass holding strong at 20 ft 3 feet from the bottom? Water temp. is 40's water murky.

It is always a pleasure to welcome another Virginia guy to the Forum, especially one that fishes the Potomac.

As for how to fish next week in cold, heavy stained water: stay home!!!!

Actually, we had the same conditions on Lake Gaston last weekend and only crankbaits and Carolina rigs worked.

DT 16s and 20s caught what was caught which was not much.

One nice one caught on a Carolina rig.

Good luck and let us know what you throw and how you do.

If the water warms up this week I should do okay. Never really tried the c-rig in the prespawn. Usually only use it in the dig days of summer. Will definitely try it I need all the help I can get.

Thinking I might spend my time dragging a jig or with a fluke with a swimbsit hook. Don't have a lot of faith with jerk baits/crank baits on the reservoir. I can do it on the river but not on the reservoir. A lot of other people murder them with jerks and cranks but not me. Thanks for the tips Sam!

Will keep BR posted on the outcome:-)
