Super User Gone_Phishin Posted July 19, 2013 Author Super User Posted July 19, 2013 If he takes that deal that would be a best case. If he insistant on starter for starter maybe see if he would take Tillman, he looks good on paper and while I am an O's fan, could emplode any day now.  Anytime, I love crunching the numbers  I countered with Tillman, Papelbon, and Juan Francisco for Beltre and Gee. Their respective values are pretty much dead nuts. Super User flyfisher Posted July 19, 2013 Super User Posted July 19, 2013 Milwaukee's system is dry. They gutted the farm for the Greinke and Marcum trades, while sending other pieces here and there for guys like K-Rod, Morgan, etc. Maybe so but bad decisions shouldn't warrant extra picks. I mean look at all the crappy moves the phillies made before. Quote

Super User flyfisher Posted July 19, 2013 Super User Posted July 19, 2013 Amaro has ignored the offense way to long. This off season is a huge one. Lots of big name free agents on the team Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted July 19, 2013 Author Super User Posted July 19, 2013 Nice did he take it?  He countered with Beltre, Gee, and Wheeler for Prado, Papelbon, and Masterson. The only issue here is as much as Prado is been down all year, he is really my only option at 2B...and our wire is ridiculously thin at 2B. I mean look at all the crappy moves the phillies made before.  They definitely weren't bad decisions, as they let to a trip to the NLCS. It was worth it: the Crew has made the playoffs twice in the last few years...before that the last time was 1982. Quote

It is a lot, Gee and Wheeler aren't half bad, if you don't need saves then I would consider it, I think both them guys could win 7 a piece the second half Quote
Super User MCS Posted July 23, 2013 Super User Posted July 23, 2013 Well Braun is down how many more to go?!?! I made the nessecary waiver wire aquisitions, only have 1 named player on both my teams. Â You all think fallout from this will help clean up the game? shape the playoffs? If texas loses Cruz that will be a blow to them. What your thoughts on Chris Davis he swears he is clean, the only two guys I believe are Fielder and Miggy because they look like they never hit a gym before and they have produced since day one. Davis scares me a bit, I want to believe in him but I know from Palmero that you cannot trust anyone. Let's just say I am not willing to bet my salary on that. LOL 1 Quote
