Super User Gone_Phishin Posted April 14, 2013 Author Super User Posted April 14, 2013 Yeah that greinke thing is weird, the situation surrounding the charge. 3-2 count lead off hitter for the inning and the guy that has gotten plunked most.....hmmm sounds like quinten just wanted to punch someone Masterson is crazy wicked so far. Good pick up J upton and coco crisp have been carrying my offense, coco smh eating wheaties lol  I dumped Hughes for Masterson at the beginning of the season, so that has worked out well so far. Lol.  I so wanted J Up this year, but my draft position kind of prohibited me from getting a shot at him. I had my fingers crossed he would be there at the end of the third round...almost made it. Super User MCS Posted April 14, 2013 Super User Posted April 14, 2013 My team is taking its lumps now, kubel, crisp and ceuto are all down joining big papi Good to see Hamels and Halladay get good starts. Howard is starting to swing better too. Watched the Nats braves yesterday good game Strasburg was the tough luck loser. Nats bullpen looked horrible Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted April 14, 2013 Super User Posted April 14, 2013 Braves pulled out another win against the nats....they are on fire!! Nice to see halladay get his 200th win and papelbon his 260th save too. 1 Quote
38 Super Fan Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 I am in disbelief that the Reds just swept the Phillies. I know it's just a three game series in April, but it's the Reds first sweep of the Phils since 1996. It's been a massively one sided series for a long time, more bad memories than I care to think about. Quote
Super User MCS Posted April 18, 2013 Super User Posted April 18, 2013 Yeah it surprised me too. I pick Lannan up for the start, he was shelled. Crazy to think that was without Cueto throwing. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted April 19, 2013 Super User Posted April 19, 2013 And Lannan is now on the 15 day dl.....probably from the 70 pitches he had in less than 2 innings. Phillies look so disjointed it is killing me... Quote

Phillies look so disjointed it is killing me... Â Some kind of knee issue that bothered him the start before. Hope it isn't like Jair Jurjens because those knee issues railroad his pretty promising career. Lannan was looking like a nice 3or4 starter. I am hanging on to him in fantasy because I have faith he will comeback strong and help the Phils catch the braves and nats. Â Edit: Just made it to my baseball page and saw....Good news, I guess, it is his quad. Quote

38 Super Fan Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 I have to give the Reds management credit for getting Shin Soo Choo, that guy has been incredible. I bet he's been on base more already this year than Drew Stubbs was all of last season. Quote

The Reds need to keep Phillips in the 4 hole permanently, the guy can drive in runs, he's probably the best clutch hitter on the team. Quote
Super User MCS Posted May 1, 2013 Super User Posted May 1, 2013 Halladay just got kicked around again! WOW I hope he can get it together. I loved watching him pitch before this season.lol Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted May 1, 2013 Super User Posted May 1, 2013 And durbin got lit too.....and Howard even legged out a double. Talk about a weird game. Quote

Looks like dejavu all over again man. 9 runs in 2 innings thing is he is still getting his K's and the whip be at 1.46 ain't that terrible, walks are doing him in. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted May 6, 2013 Super User Posted May 6, 2013 Saw he is getting his shoulder examined too.....there is no way a guy that good can fall so fast without an injury. Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted May 7, 2013 Author Super User Posted May 7, 2013 Speaking of Doc, I now have an open spot and need a SP. We are in a very deep league, any suggestions? Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted May 7, 2013 Super User Posted May 7, 2013 Kyle Kendrick from the phillies has been pitching very very well this season, especially for a 4th starter.....sorry i am a baseball fan but know more about the phillies than other teams. Quote

Super User flyfisher Posted May 7, 2013 Super User Posted May 7, 2013 wow that is a huge league.......good luck and maybe you should take the NFL 1st pick approach....take the best/only player availabe Quote
