Ebay and lots of patience are about your only chance. That's one of those baits that guys just aren't willing to let go of very often, I know I wouldn't sell any of mine :)

Another option is to buy an unpopular color, that you might get a deal on Ebay and then send it off to a custom painter.

well they are discontinued, so really getting any of them is going to be a chore

Quillback has a good point.

You may have to purchase another color or the same body type and have someone paint it as close to your color selection as possible.

I'm in the same boat on the .05's, unfortunately they dropped that size altogether when they went with Tak. Lucky strike makes one, but it weighs 1/8oz, the rc was 1/4 and could easily be cast far with a BC and MH rod. Pretty unique to have a small crank that can be cast that far.

The Academy H20 Xpress is similar in shape, but not as good as the 1.5.  I had one split open, and cracked the lip on another.  The action is not as sharp and pronounced as the Lucky Craft 1.5.  Using the same rod, line and reel I can't feel the Academy bait as well.  However, I do think it is better than the Lucky Strike version of Clunn's bait though.  I have some of the LC RTOs but haven't gotten to fish them yet, they look very similar to the LC1.5 and my hopes are high...

My favorite replacement so far is the KVD 1.5, although the colors are not that great.

Yep, this.  Auburn had an entire rack of them still last time I was there.

Since we are Popeless for now, I'll confess that I like the KVD 1.5 more than the LC 1.5. How many Hail Mary's?...

Once again Acadamy has the H2) Xpress Wake that goes surface to 6". The bluegill catches alot of fish for me. Cast well too

An Acadamy does do internet sales now.

Assuming your referring to the .05 i mentioned that's a different bait...it's 1 1/4" longer and is a wakebait. Good to know that academy is selling online now though, I've admired some of their in house baits but live 3 states from one.

Check out the Fat CB DBS Zero if you like the 0.5. 1 3/4" and 1/4 makes it easy to fish on baitcasting gear and it seems to draw strikes from bigger than average fish for a small bait, one of my 3 PB 5lb smallmouths ate one in the American Shad color.

The Strike King 1.0 is just a tad bigger but another good, small squarebill.

They do still make the 0.5 since they started making the new version for Tak, just harder to find.

Thanks man. I'd looked and seen bps didn't offer the RTO in the .05 size after the rc went away. Good to know the LC is available. I do own and use the Kvd 1.0 and your right it's pretty close.

I'll take your word on the smaller big daddy strike, order placed!
