Is there a difference between square and round spoon crank baits? Or any benefits of the two?

Squarebills do tend to bounce off of and roll over cover better than round billed baits but the baits with round bills tend to run deeper than squarebills.

There is also a difference in the way each displaces water, so not only is the side to side movement different, so is what a bass will interpret via it's lateral line.  Kind of like the difference between a flat sidded bait and a fat bodied one.
