trupp30 Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 I am planning to use 20# braid for my spinning reels. I want to use a fluro leader. I am wondering what # fluro line most of you match to 20# braid for spinning gear. Keep in mind, I will be using this set-up for T-Rigged worms, wacky rig or similar finesse style fishing. Thanks for any help. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted February 28, 2013 Super User Posted February 28, 2013 8-10# should work fine. Quote
thehooligan Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 i use 6lb for dropshot, mostly 8lb for shakeyhead/anything else. Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted February 28, 2013 Super User Posted February 28, 2013 This is my system.......take it for what it's worth 10lb braid = 6,8,or 10 lb leaders 15lb braid = 8,10, or 12lb leaders 20lb braid = 10,12, or 15lb leaders 30lb braid = 15,17, or 20lb leaders 50lb braid = 20lb leaders 1 Quote
bassr95 Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 I have found anything under 12lb a bit to fragile for my t-rigs. On the other hand, I hate retying, so you could probably get away with 8 or 10 by retying occasionally. Quote
Capt.Bob Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 6-10 depending on water clarity and structure. Quote
