I am a big crankbait and lipless crankbait guy.  I mainly use Bandit and Strike King Red Eye Shads.  Spro has caught my attention and I also find myself using everything Russ Lane uses since we live in the same area.

I really like the Cellmate color.  They have Little Johns, Fat Papas, and Aruku Shads.

Anybody use these and had any luck with them.

JP Derose tested a few crankbaits the other day and these tested out well.

Heck yeah, they are excellent. The Aruku shads are a staple, and the little John's  have won me a few tourney's. Can't go wrong with any of their products IMO. Great Company.

my only thing is they are twice the price of the products I currently use.  Hopefully someone will run a sale on them sometime and I will order a lot online.

Get them.  You won't be disappointed.  With any crank bait fishing, you need a good plug knocker.  Invest in a good to decent one or make your own.  I don't leave the house without mine!

The aruku shad is my favorite lipless crankbait.

Been shopping around you can find deal on the little John on eBay but not really for the mcstick. So far Gander has the best price at 11.99 for the stick and 9.99 for the John with free shipping I checked out BPS, Spro and a couple other tackle sites and the McStick was going for 12.49-14.99. Plus you had to pay shipping.

TW has about the lowest McStick price I've seen.  A few years ago I bought some from cabelas online for $5.  I wished I had grabbed more.  I've also seen them on their shelves in the store for $5-$8 a few times.  I clean them out when I see that.

I like them. My favorite is the Little John squarebill, the Russ Lane Fat poppa, and while not hardbaits, the Bronze eye frogs....both the popper and regular.

Oh man you are correct TW has them for 11.49 and the Aruka for 6.29 both cheaper than gander.

That's still a great deal at Gander.  Between cleaning off the racks at Cabela's a few times and TW when they have everything discounted I should probably stop looking at McSticks for a few years!

Aruku shad is a decent bait; picked up some McSticks after watching McCleland's (sp) videos on TW but haven't got around to fishing the later yet.
