Try fishing this trailer on a swim jig or any jig!!!! Take a Netbait Dirt Dog and slid it on the hook backwards so the legs come out of the sides of the skirt and then just cut the head off that sticks out past the hook.I have been fishing this setup on swim jigs, football heads, flippin jigs. And it has out fished any other trailer on a jig.Them little paddle ends drive them NUTS.

Tackle Warehouse has an iCast 2010 video which shows Greg Vincent presenting the different ways to rig this puppy.  Quite an interesting bait.

That's good to know. I've seen some pigs in Delavan especially in Spring. What is the current state record in Wisconsin?

BTW: What does " " stand for?

Thanks,

Do you mainly fish at night on both of these lakes? If so would you mind sharing some spots off line. If not no problem.

That's funny because I was going to BPS on Saturday at the Gurnee store to get some of these Netbait Dirt Dogs and try them this year. PM me your full name so I can ask for you when I'm there.

What do you mean by rigging it backwards?  Do you have a photo of what it looks like the way you like to rig it?

what I mean by backwards is I start to thread the hook point between the legs and now slid it on the hook up to the jig head. So now the legs should come out of the side of the jig skirt and the head of the Dirt Dawg will be at the back of the hook.I don't know how to post pictures, sorry!

nbsp stands for No Break and Space. It is a computer character entity. Typically used in internet forums where there is an incorrect space used in a quotation.

Likewise, you definitely shared a lot of info with me. I would have never thought that about those lakes. Thanks for sharing and I will try it out this season hopefully. I also sent you an e-mail, in regards to some of the things we spoke about at Bass-Pro. On those dirt daws, I bought a few of those as well, hopefully I can kick my partners butt with something new this season

Thanks for the explanation.
