jessallus Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 I took my kids out for their first Kayak fishing trip this weekend, they had lots of fun. I was not able to get my hook wet much. The kids learned some new stuff and no one ended up turttling so I guess all in all it was a good trip. It allways cracks me up when I'm getting my kayak ready to put in the water how men come up to my husband and tell him what a nice kayak he has and start talking about fishing. My husband does not like fishing at all and it is my kayak. I usually just grin and keep loading my gear as people wear my husbands ears down. lol Quote
Super User Darren. Posted February 25, 2013 Super User Posted February 25, 2013 My boys purposefully dump in the warm weather, LOL. Looks like y'all had some great fun. Quote
jessallus Posted February 25, 2013 Author Posted February 25, 2013 We did have fun I took them out to Stillhouse hollow lake near Belton Texas. I was a little scared about how my little girls kayak would do. It is a very short youth kayak I should had waited until Santa could afford a bigger one for her. Im sure if she likes it she will get a diffrent one in a year or two. Quote

My youngest uses it now, although he prefers the stability of the larger models. They work well to get kids adapted to the sport! Quote
