JDUB Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 How can I stop my rig from swimming upside down? The swimbaits swim the right way but the head keeps going upside down? Thanks Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted February 25, 2013 Super User Posted February 25, 2013 So long as your swimbaits are swimming upright it doesn't matter what the head is doing. The bass to care. 1 Quote
noah3d Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 I agree. I doubt the bass care, but if you want it to swim right, try bending the wires and making sure everything is inline. Quote
Christian M Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 You could try putting a heavier weight hook on the bottom one or two swimbaits, that might force the Rig to swim upright, but I agree with the others. As long as the swimbaits are swimming true who cares, there are no hooks on the rig head. Quote
kylek Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 How can I stop my rig from swimming upside down? The swimbaits swim the right way but the head keeps going upside down? Thanks mine does the same thing no matter how i bend the arms. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted February 25, 2013 Super User Posted February 25, 2013 i haven;t thrown the 3 arm rig or anything other than a single bait for that matter but the bass don't care. I will very often rig my yum money minnows doug stange style through the side and have a better hookup rate and action is still outstanding. Quote
Super User Felix77 Posted February 25, 2013 Super User Posted February 25, 2013 Can't tell how you rigged it but make sure there is one arm on the top and two on the bottom. Widen out the two on the bottom as well. Quote
