plumworm Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Google, Ky Lake fishing reports. There are 3-4 guides who put in an actual good fishing report every week (mostly on Fri.) with water level reports, baits, colors etc. I'm heading down there for two weeks in mid April ( third year in a row) I love Ky. Lake Best baits have been tx rigged lizards, shakey head worms, chart/white spinnerbaits. Best colors: pumpkin, pumpkin majic, and watermelon. Good luck, It's a great fishing hole. Quote

ebob2435 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 My friend went down to fish that tournament this weekend as a coangler. Out of kuttawa boat ramp. His boat partner's wife had an emergency, soooo he didn't have a partner. His brother fished the tournament as a coangler. They fished plastics all day, starting where the shallows dropped off to deeper water. They found them on the break in the afternoon. I think he said 23 lbs won the tournament. $4900 A coangler had over 20 lbs won $2500 There was several bags weighed in over 20 lbs. His brother won $160 with what he weighed in, sorry I don't remember what the weight was. He was throwing plastic craws. Hopes this helps ,but another month the topwater should come alive. Quote
