Totally nice early morning bassing at this pond. This is the same little pond I caught a 6 lb'er almost a month ago.

You can see I used a Mann's Minus 1 in bone color. It was like all 3 bass were caught in the same area of the pond, they were not by shore bedding. They were out like in the middle of the lake.

Totally made my day after a stupid, crazy week at work, this was the way to end one crappy week and start a new week...and waiting till the following weekend when I can wet a line!

Fishing is my Zen...

Good catch my man! I caught a chub in the local ponds as well. They are a lot of fun while our rivers are all screwed up due to rain.

For future reference, these posts normally go in the fishing reports section. Just don't be surprised if someone moves it. Great fish and awesome job catching them near top!

I was testing a rod and line combo two weeks ago walking a Damiki d pop 70 and it was smashed twice in five minutes. These winter topwater bass are crazy!

We're you burning it under the water or waking it up top?

I was using the Minus 1 just under the surface, a foot or so?  I tried topwater lure, got a new Lobina Rio Rico but no love as of yet.
