Congrats on the reel, bet youll love it. I cant buy anything now, between v day and my friends wedding.....im broke!

Congrats on the reel, bet you got a good deal with all the trade-in, coupons they were handing out etc.

I took Roadwarriors comment that I was an old stick in the mud to heart and picked up a Revo S and matching Veritas rod.  Too good a deal to pass up with $15 trade in value, 10% off, quadruple preferred customer points and $20 off the rod.

Thanks alot! I looked extensively at a lot of reels. They had a shimano and abu garcia rep there. Talked to both. When I picked up the abu revo Mgx I knew I wanted it. Congrats on wedding! I will purchase my tackle items when my tax return comes in. Happy shopping!

Yes I got 50 bucks off with trade in. Also congrats on reel! They were selling alot of Revo S Baitcasters.

Man I am super jealous. Those MGX's are a piece of art

Yes thank you. That's what I said when I touched it. I had the money and couldn't pass up the opportunity.  Im going to pair it with a St. Croix Legend Xtreme MHM 7'2 Rod.

Congrats on the new reel.  I'm sure you will love it.

No BPS around here.  Had hoped to pick up a few plastics at one of the Online sales.  Some tungsten wights and swimbait heads as well.  Last 2 weeks I have purchased 4 rods and 2 reels plus a few smaller items.  Well the macro lens wasn't a small item, but wanted to be able to take closeups since I plan on starting to do some of my own reel maintenance.  Guess the plastics and weights will have to wait for the next sale.  :(

Great great reel. I got one last year, Had a blast with it, I'm getting it tuned up as we speak. I bought the revo premier and a PQ. I wanted to get a 100 mgfv core and my crappy bps had none, nor did they have the regular 100, nor did they have a 50 other than the display model which they weren't willing to discount at all. I hate bps.If I didn't have a ton of gift cards from birthdays and christmas, I wouldn't shop there at all. It's hard to say no to a new premier and pq for $200. Btw my mgx (when it gets back) sits on a 6'8" mf xtreme. Ridiculous setup. Congrats on  your purchase you wont be dissapointed

I'm actually volunteering with the Central VA Heroes On the Water group at the local BPS here in Central VA.  I took a few minutes at the end of the day and snagged a few small terminal tackle items and some line but avoided any large purchases.  I figured I would snag a spool of the Seguar Kanzen braid and wanted to give it a try.  Also snagged some more PLine Flourclear and Yozuri Hybrid.

I picked up a PQ reel, veritas rod and yo-zuri line. Bait monkey happy for now. Lol

I was waiting for the rod trade in to go, but a friend talked me into riding along so he could buy some reels. He got 1 MGX and 3 Premiers (it was all the Premiers they had). I did check out that new Bionic baitcast combo after the conversation on here. I must say for $69 it felt like a nice set up, of course someone will have to fish it to really know. But for that price I think a guy starting out can't go wrong, and it may prove to be a great buy for experienced guys as well. the one I picked up was nicely balanced.

I picked up some Shad Raps, swimbait jigheads, tungsten bullet weights, XPS Floro, rod socks, and some Kermy's. I will be there again for the rod trade-in and my juniors are volenteering there the last weekend. So I am in for some more bait monkey time!

So far I've picked up a BPS Extreme casting reel in the 5:1 ratio.  I'm waiting for the rod trade in next week......it's either going to be a carrot stix ml or st. croix premier ml casting rod.  Still haven't made the decision......will wait to throw a reel on'em in store and see how they both feel in hand.
