Does anyone have any experience with this reel? I am just really antsy about it because the first one I received from Tackle Warehouse was grinding very bad and I had to ship it back for an exchange. The original reel arrives at Tackle Warehouse on Monday. They will then process it, and within a day or two, ship me a new one. Has anyone ever had issues with a reel from Tackle Warehouse, and maybe a revo sx in particular? If so, how was the exchange rate? Someone please help rid myself of worries!

Sears & Roebuck, now Sears initiated the satisfaction garrantee with free produced replaced, the reason ; Sears doesn't make any of their products, you the customer are the quality control. Abu stopped making their own reels for general public use and has the reels made in China to their specs and you the customer are the quality control. Trust the Chinese to follow the rules and use proper metals and not cut corners.

Your replacement reel may or may not work well and can return it again if needed.

Tom

PS; Chinese counterfeit parts is costing the US billions of $$$ each year.

I have one and I love it. I use it on my duckett micro majic rod and the combo is as light as a feather. I was nervous buying it because there were not that many reviews, but my expectations were met. I'm not trying to steer you away from the Sx but I recently bought a Lews Speed Spool and it is amazing for the price. The only thing is it is a little hard to dial in but once you do it's awesome. I can cast weightless worms with it.
