So the schedule states ESPN2 but not till the 24th (typo?), do they not have real time on the Air of the Classic?  I set my DVRs to record but cant recall the day/time?

Yes i liked to know too... the schedule on tv says it wil be on espn 2 on sunday but thats it! What about friday and saturday? Can we watch it online?

You can watch the weigh live online at bassmaster.com.  They have people on the water and will be doing live blogs all day long and uploading to the bassmaster internet site.

Other than the live weigh-in, it's the same as every other Bassmasters Series event.  The full tournament on the water snippets are aired a week or two later on ESPN 2 on SAT and SUN mornings.

I find that following the updates on the site is quite entertaining.  You get a pretty good feel for what is going on and who is in the mix for the day, and who isn't.

espn needs to give the classic the same treatment as NHRA drag racing. where they air it the day it takes place, and possible live coverage down the stretch. wasnt the classic from lay lake live? why cant they do that anymore? it worked out well i thought. otherwise i have no desire to watch the classic a week after all the results are known, its almost pointless then

I wonder if they will be doing the war room again? That was pretty cool. And when they had basscam, that was pretty cool too.

This is what I am talking about in the past it didn't much matter to me, but now especially with Major Fishing League and FLW I want the real time event..  Also here at work we block streaming media so the website is fairly useless for real time events and or at least the day of..

Yeah, they've gotta edit out all of those snags, foul language rants, and such!  :hangloose:

Can't have us blokes believing these guys are anything less than supermen. Joking aside, it's always a week two following.

Agreed. I mean they can hook up a bunch of GoPro cameras with live-feeds on each fisherman's hat! Of course we'd all go bat crazy watching, probably get sick, too.

In this day and age, unless the previous time(s) it was "live" was a failure behind-the-scenes, it would seem feasible to continue the trend. Unless there's just too many variables with people all over the water.

Here is a helpful link on watching classic coverage.   http://www.bassmaster.com/news/how-watch-bassmaster-classic

I have to think outside of the box when talking about watching what happens live.  How would I like someone watching me catch fish on what color lure or type of lure?  That would just be one of the questions.  As a spectator, I would love nothing more than watching it live.  As a competitor, I wouldn't.  The other thing that comes to mind is "the pattern"  So lets say I can't see what lure he's using.  I can see where he's fishing and how he's fishing.  To me it makes it easier for someone to be unethical.  Just my opinion.

Good link but we block social media, so sadly this wont matter much to me until I get home and if you deal with IT like I do the last thing you want to do is be on your Tablet/PC/Smartphone to watch something when you have a big screen right there with surround sound...

Last year I renewed my love for bass fishing after about a ten year haiatus. Im anticipating the launch tommorrow like I used to any major golf tournament. Following the Bassmaster website blog updates and photos has been really neat and best believe Ill be glued tomm.

At this point the guys must be chompin' at the bit to throw a cast with money on the line officially.

Just saw a pic of JVD's rod/reels in the back of his pickup preparing for tomm. Guy has more loomis rods than my local bass pro no question.
