Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone uses the Hydrowave and if so what are your thoughts on this piece of equipment.. Any and all comments welcome. Thanks a lot, Matt

I have fished with and without it, if there are shad in the area, and you have it set to the correct sound pattern, you will immediately notice shad starting to break the water and become very active.   Can I say that I caught more fish with it than without, I don't know.  I don't know how to prove or disprove its effectiveness, you can only determine for yourself if you are happy with its results.

i just got one myself.  i'm waiting for good weather so i can install it.  i know there are a lot of people against it, but i've seen a bunch of convincing posts for it.  i figure it's worth a shot.

That echoes the reports I've gotten from a couple trusted friends.  Something is definitely going on.  No one knows if it leads to converting non biters.

I've had one for about 6 months now. I've tried all the different sounds in a lot of different situations and it just does not seem effective for me on the waters I fish on. I can point to one "maybe it helped" situation, and zero "for sure made a difference" events. At times, I'd swear it stopped a good bite.

I obviously had higher hopes for it, and maybe it works for some guys in some situations. The company has been great to deal with on a water intrusion issue. They sent me a new unit when that happened. But it just has not turned me into a believer.
