ProCrafter Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 OK...gonna rant here....been waiting 3 weeks for a 6" Ram Mount for my new electronics upgrade and guess where the company is located....YUP right here in Seattle and they could not get one till just today!!! Will someone please come up with another brand and get a fire under this companies back side because they do not appear to have any pressure to provide customer service!!! Anyone else had issues? I know its boat show/sports show season but man!! this is rediculous!!! Quote
Hanover_Yakker Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 I've never had any issue with product quality or customer service. I've had a composite rod tube break that was replaced without issue all the way here in VA. I also have their Lowrance FF mount, rod tubes, and no less than 5 different rod holders. Quality stuff and USA made. Quote
Super User slonezp Posted February 20, 2013 Super User Posted February 20, 2013 You can purchase them from other vendors 1 Quote
Jig Meister Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Wow, never had an issue with any RAM product, check ebay....or amazon.....going direct to some manufactures is sometimes not always the easiest/best idea to get what you want.....dont ask me why but this is what I have expirenced Quote

Most companies want to take care of the people who are actually "selling" their product as opposed to the occasional order here and there. JMO though Quote

OP there is plenty of 5" tall RAM mounts on ebay, I do not know what ball size you are looking for but most of them are 1.5" Quote
Koofy Smacker Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 I would never buy straight from the manufacturer. This year I snapped my transducer mount in half (no idea how) and wanted to buy a replacement with the kick up plate. Humminbirds website listed the part at over $35 shipped, I got it from a dealer for $13 shipped. Always look around Quote
CTGalloway21 Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 I purchase all of my Ram Mounts through Hook1. It might be a kayak site but I get my stuff within a week. Quote
BassinB Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 I ordered a mount for my Lowrance elite 7hdi straight from them and it shipped fedex the next day and arrived 2 days later. Can't complain. Quote
