Last night I was fishing in a large pond, using a black buzz bait and hooked into a monster fish, I mean huge, 10+#s and when I brought the fish in it had completely swallowed my buzzbait it was in its stomach.  I tried to remove it but couldn't  a young child may have been my son comes over and rips the buzzbait out of the fish and I wake up, now tell me that's not an odd dream??  Man I am chopping at the bit to get out on the water and I hope this weekend is it, you know you have the fever when you dream about fishing..

I have similar dreams about archery hunting. The big buck shows up and something is always wrong with my bow. The most recent one when I let the arrow go it went about 3 feet before falling from the sky, like a kids bow.

I have dreams about bowhunting like that too. I always miss the deer or don't have enough zip on the arrow.

Yep, Rx is to take two rods and your son and go fishing in the morning.

I think there's another agenda here.  I think your dream was about getting old !?  :)  Older people these day have to rely on young (and I mean young) people to fix things for them; or give direction on how to work/program electronics, etc.

Now if I had that dream it would have ended with a hot babe walking up and saying "Oh, can't fish any more??  Let's go kill some time"  :)  But that's me...   ;)

Well I am in my 30s and work in IT so I don't need any help with electronics.. I just hope my lake isn't frozen..

I fall asleep every night thinking about fishing and then usually dream about fishing.  Even when I dream about other stuff, fishing is usually incorporated.  I had a zombie apocolypse dream the other night.  I was fishing this little creek and had just hooked into one when a hoarde of zombies came up on me.  I wanted to run but wouldn't let the fish go.
