RyneB Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 wow, thats a nice rig. Tons of storage space and i love how wide it is. If you dont mind me asking, how much? Quote
Super User Teal Posted February 20, 2013 Super User Posted February 20, 2013 Im never been in to deep v boats... but that is a sick rig. I would love that. That is awesome. Quote
Super User slonezp Posted February 20, 2013 Author Super User Posted February 20, 2013 wow, thats a nice rig. Tons of storage space and i love how wide it is. If you dont mind me asking, how much? They start at 35k with a 150 Merc. With the 225 ProXS, custom trailer, 80lb Terrova iPilot and a bunch of options/upgrades, no electronics, freight and dealer prep for 45k. I shopped around. I got quotes for less equipped boats for over 50k. Quote
Super User slonezp Posted February 20, 2013 Author Super User Posted February 20, 2013 Im never been in to deep v boats... but that is a sick rig. I would love that. That is awesome. It's not a traditional deep v, It will serve me better than a bass boat on Lake Michigan. Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted February 20, 2013 Super User Posted February 20, 2013 That is one long trolling motor shaft. Nice boat though. Quote
d3bf48 Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 wow that is a nice looking boat, congrats Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted February 20, 2013 Super User Posted February 20, 2013 Congrats Man - I remember you saying that you were close to pulling the trigger on one. I've been a fan of that boat since it came out. If I were to break down and get one - that would be it. Looking forward to the photos A-Jay 1 Quote
Hanover_Yakker Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Dang!! The rod storage and that livewell is sick man! Congrats!! Quote
Super User slonezp Posted February 20, 2013 Author Super User Posted February 20, 2013 I have a 998c SI going on the console and just ordered an 858c HD for the bow. Decided to sell the 798 with the old boat. Once I get my old boat sold, I'd like to put on a Talon or Power Pole. I think that's a Fortrex in the video. The one I got has a Terrova 60" shaft that, I believe, can be adjusted similar to the V2 with a locking collar to run in shallow water. If not, I'm screwed. Quote
Shewillbemine Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Nice! Congrats! I like the stability of my deep V especially since I take it to the Pacific very frequently. Quote
Crookedneck Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 That is a sick boat. Would love to have it for running over to Sturgeon Bay and up to Bay DeNoc fishing... Quote
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted February 20, 2013 Super User Posted February 20, 2013 Sell your Dodge and you can buy a couple of packs of Senkos to go with all the other goodies, and have change left over for a cup of coffee. Congrats. Hope you make many happy memories with her. Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted February 20, 2013 Super User Posted February 20, 2013 Great looking boat! They have come a long way in making aluminum boats suitable to bass fishermen. The big deck, storage space, and high-end fixtures makes your boat a fine choice IMO. Lund makes a quality boat that should serve you well. The ProXS is a beast! A friend has the 250 on his glass boat, and it really performs well. Congratulations. Quote
Super User senile1 Posted February 20, 2013 Super User Posted February 20, 2013 That is a sweet boat. It looks like a nice fishing platform with plenty of room for body storage, smuggling, and other nefarious activities. I'm looking forward to your pictures. Quote
Super User BassinLou Posted February 20, 2013 Super User Posted February 20, 2013 Oooooo mama mia. LOL. Congrats man. Enjoy. Quote
Super User slonezp Posted February 20, 2013 Author Super User Posted February 20, 2013 That is a sick boat. Would love to have it for running over to Sturgeon Bay and up to Bay DeNoc fishing... It will see plenty of time on Sturgeon Bay. My folks have a summer home in Sister Bay. I have never been to Little or Big Bay De Noc and I haven't heard much about the smallie fishing. I hear the walleye fishing is second to none. Quote
Super User Nitrofreak Posted February 20, 2013 Super User Posted February 20, 2013 That is one sweet ride Sloan, I wish you the best of luck and I too hope it gives you a lot of really good memories ! Can't wait to see the one you picked out ! Quote

If you ever need a fishing partner let me know while you are there, I have yet to fish Sturgeon Bay, but it is on my list of places to fish. If you ever decide to take a trip across to the Marinette/Menominee area let me know, I can show you some areas on the lower Menominee River area. Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted February 21, 2013 Super User Posted February 21, 2013 Nice! Congrats! Quote
