Super User lmbfisherman Posted February 19, 2013 Super User Posted February 19, 2013 So that's what headed for us at the end of the week....Keep it A-Jay, I don't want it! That is what is passing through us right now I believe (Ontario, Canada)! I am looking at the bright side, at least this will help compensate for the dry winter/spring/summer last year and so it won't hopefully cause the lakes/rivers/ponds to be so low for us in 2013! The local lake near us was so dry parts of the lake (usually around 8-10 ft) you could drive your 4x4 through. 1 Quote

Super User Darren. Posted February 19, 2013 Super User Posted February 19, 2013 That's it , Darren , rub it in........... It was just awful today. 57 down here, spritzes of rain now and then. Just had to get out with my oldest son, though. He needs to get his hands on a bait caster again, so we hit the docks -- only needed sweat shirts, too, because we all know 57 is downright chilly in VA this time of year.... Quote

You're right, we had to wait for a hurricane to come through in the Fall to get moisture back into the ground...but yet, weeds in my back yard continued to grow...only green lawn on the street in August.
