I used to be in insurance. I recently decided to leave the business and I am looking at going back to school. The recession has caused my to redefine myself professionally and as a person.

On the weekend I'm an XRay Tech in a Trauma Center.

During the week I'm a fishing guide for The Kingfisher Society.

I also run a Boy Scout Troop of 43 boys and 15 adults.

Oh, and I make a few fishing videos.

I'm a Licensed Practical Nurse at a nursing home. Recently switched to 11-7 which will (hopefully) free up some more daylight hours for fishing.

Very interesting topic Lag Issuez. Me, I'm a double nought spy...., seriously, I spent 45 yrs. As a welder, 32 of them building fire trucks. I dont know whos job was hotter, mine or the guys who wind up using the trucks.

I work for a company that does explosion welding. I am the lead on midnight. We deal with big heavy pieces of metal some plates are upwards of 60,000 pounds! Close to home ( less than a mile ) and get most of the days off I need to fish tourneys. Our shop was on modern marvels on the history channel a few years back!

Is that the same lake that O'Neill Williams filmed 2 or 3 of his shows at? Very nice and well managed lake if it is!

Claim IT for a large insurance company.

Honestly though I've gotten tired of the grind and don't want to spend the next 40 years of my life spending 40-50 hours a week being somewhere I'd rather not be. I'm starting an internet business, and have plans for other internet businesses after the 1st one is set up.

My goal is to live off of passive income from my internet businesses and spend the time I would be at work reading and writing and being creative, and of course fishing and golfing. I can't wait for the freedom!

IT Specialist @ the university which I graduated from in 2005. I take care of about 700 student records daily, everything from active directory to networks, build linux servers, manage exchange servers, room calls, hardware fixes... basically everything you could do in IT in a given day.

From 2005 -2010 = In depth web application development, mainly for the agriculture industry using a lot of web technology thats just becoming popular. Also built bank applications that talked to mac machines, online gun sales, parts applications, flash based mapping on gis layers before google earth was even a pipe dream.
