Not sure what excuse is this time but our gas has gone up $0.70 in just a couple of weeks. We are just about back to the $4.00 mark.

I am back up to $400 a month for gas.

I sure miss the old days of $1 a gallon.

The excuse is.

Either A. Someones wife needed a new house in the Hamptons.

Or B. Taxes went up so the only way to keep revenue the same is to thusly raise the price in an effort to combat the higher tax.

Until we as a people rise up and take to the streets this will continue to happen. Change doesnt happen by itself. Start a RIOT! Peaceful protest did not work look at the occupy movements. They were over run with filthy peaceful hippies. What did they accomplish?! Nothing!!! The fat cats and rich laughed and mocked them. The time has come to hit them where it hurts the wallet. If rioting and boycotts is what it takes then by all means that is what needs to be done. Signs and flowers dont work. Naplam and bricks bring change. United we can conquer all. Divided we will continue to oppressed by the ruling and upper class.

Ummm...ya...

On a brighter note, it looks like prices will be falling by summer, and will continue to fall after that, as North America becomes self-sufficient and renders OPEC inert by 2020.  More details:

Stock market rises and the price of oil usually follows, the market is near 14000.  I don't like paying more out of pocket than I have to but a rise in investments easily pays for it.  It's when the investments decrease in value and gas goes higher is when I don't like it, glad to say that is not the case at present.

Oil is sold on the world market, and the rules of supply and demand prevail.  Less supply for the demand and prices increase, and more supply than the demand and it goes down, that's it in it's simplest form.  Homes in the Hamptons and taxes have little bearing, with oil subsidies big oil corporations wind up paying very little tax in relationship to the amount of profits.  The USA is importing the least amount of oil in decades and what we do import the majority comes from Canada and Mexico.  I've read somewhere that the USA is poised either to be the 2nd largest oil producer or 2nd largest exporter, don't remember which offhand.

Its not against the government so its not domestic terrorism. I in no way called for an over throw of our government. Nor am I endorsing one. Nor am I calling for bodily harm against the so called ruling class in this country. So again that would rule out domeatic terrorism.

And for your information the food they serve is quite good at Levanworth.

Do I need to break out the definition of Domestic Terrorism?

Now, that statement my friend is false. However I WILL NOT go into details in a public forum over these exploits.

And I would bet that if you checked your 401k or retirement fund you would find that they are well invested in oil stocks. Oil company profits are usually around 9%, Walmart's is about 16%. Check it out.

The use of naplam (I assume you meant "napalm") and bricks indicates that in your hypothetical riot, you would be guilty of arson and destruction of personal property at the least, but probably bodily injury and death.  All four of those scenarios are criminal.

And, as far as peaceful protests not working, tell that to Gandhi and Dr. King.  Their peaceful protests worked because they were level headed and great leaders, two qualities that folks taking part in riots typically don't possess.

Like every American born and raised here, I longed for the day when I could partake in my first riot act on American soil.

Yeah, I'll call bull on that one.  You don't seem like the kind of guy that would kick butt and take names.  I say that because Chuck Norris was that kind of guy, and he did all of his rioting without saying much.  You say too much to be that kind of guy!

The only reason I can possibly see you rioting is over the Raiders winning.  And, we all know that hasn't happened in the last 40 years!
