preach4bass Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 I drive a 2003 Toyota Tacoma that has 271,000 on it. My wife drives a 2005 Chrysler Town&Country that has 176,000 on it. We have a guy in our Church that bought a mid-sized Chevy truck when he turned 18 and drove it until he was in his early 40s. He put over 600,000 on it, and it might have been over 700,000, but he said he lost track of how many times the odometer rolled over! So, how many miles does your ride have? Have you ever hit the million mile mark, or know anyone who has? Quote
scrutch Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 We recently traded in a 1996 S10 Blazer that we bought new that had 238,000 miles on it. It was in good shape and perfect mechanically. We only traded it because we needed something bigger. Quote
sbfishySC Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 I've got a 1998 Toyota 4Runner. It's got just under 200,000 on it (Off the top of my head I'd say 197,500-ish). I'm looking forward to putting 400,000+ on it. Quote
Super User Darren. Posted February 17, 2013 Super User Posted February 17, 2013 Well, our newly totalled '93 Toyota Corolla had around 275k Just picked up a 2003 Toyota Tundra which has 153k. Our 2001 Honda Odyssey has 155k or thereabouts. Quote
wnybassman Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 I only have 143,000 on my '05 Tundra. Mostly hard miles too, between pulling the boat and two different work trailers for close to half those miles. Looking for lots more though.. Quote

Super User Oregon Native Posted February 17, 2013 Super User Posted February 17, 2013 Just retired a F150...believe was a 1999 converted van that had over 250k on it and it was starting to need some love. Never used a drop of oil but took me all over to fishing tourneys out west and to Texas. Then finally out here to Tennessee. Was just getting to where need some bucks for some major stuff. So spent three grand on another regular full size F150 with bout a 100k and look forward to some more travels. The ol van never owed us a thing when retired. Tight Lines Quote

Jake P Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 06 camry is at 110. My Buddy just sold his 96 ram with 432k. Another Buddy had a 92 civic that was right at 500 k when he sold it. That's the most I have heard a vehicle having that I personally know of. Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted February 18, 2013 Super User Posted February 18, 2013 My 07 Tundra has 94K+. Love it! Jeff Quote
Super User Tuckahoe Joe Posted February 18, 2013 Super User Posted February 18, 2013 I had a 91 Oldmobile. Before the speedometer broke it had over 200k. Then I delivered pizzas in it for a year and a half so who knows. Probabaly do at least 100-200 miles a day. Pizza delivery is rough on a car. Im pretty sure Im getting a 04 Elantra on Thursday. Nothing fancy but anythings better than my last piece of junk. Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted February 18, 2013 Super User Posted February 18, 2013 My 97' F150 has 260,000 miles My 94' Toyota Corolla has 245,000 miles. We bought it in 01' for $4000 and it only had 75,000 miles. It has been the best buy I've ever made. My wife's 05' Toyota Senna has 135,000 miles. Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted February 18, 2013 Super User Posted February 18, 2013 My 2000 Jeep Cherokee has 148K, and thanks to NY winters and salt, is going to rust out, before it wears out, my previous Jeep Cherokee had 210K on it and was still running strong when I sold it. My wifes 02' Grand Caravan has 149K on it, and I hope to get 200K out of it, we use these vans at work to move people around an have had several go well past 200K. Quote
Super User MCS Posted February 18, 2013 Super User Posted February 18, 2013 I had a 1999 carolla that went for 320K before she blew. My 2000 saturn currently has a little over 160 on it. My borther in law has a 97 F-150 pushing around or over 400 and still pulling boats to the duck blind. Quote
jhoffman Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 knew a guy that put 250,000 on a honda rocket without a rebuild, thats almost unheard of. #1 that high of milage... #2 riding that many miles on a bike that was roughly 10 years old. Quote
Busy Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 '02 pathfinder has 93k on it, just replaced valve cover gaskets and spark plugs, hoping to get another 100k before it needs much more work Quote
Super User Nitrofreak Posted February 18, 2013 Super User Posted February 18, 2013 2000 F-250 7.3L diesel has 963,017 all original, she still hauls around an 11,233 lb camper everywhere we go camping, although she is going to need some injector work before too long. 1994 F-150 that has over 1,000,000 miles on it, 1,237,316 to be exact, it's been modified to a heavy half, still has the original 302 that I converted to an RV engine when it blew a head gasket, she really has a ton of work that needs to be done now, the body is rusting, the rear spring anchors are gone and now she is resting until I get enough to fix her up again. A 94 Ford Mustang GT that has 294,376 still in pretty dang good shape, all original A 96 Jeep Cheerokee( little one ) that has the 4.0L HO that has 662,436 miles on it, all original and still will climb a tree if I asked her too LOL !! A 1990 Chevy Beretta with the 2.3L Quad 4 that only has 237,990 and it's on it's last leg, I need to be looking for something to replace that one. Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted February 19, 2013 Global Moderator Posted February 19, 2013 My '06 F-150 is at 93K. Poor thing only had 29k miles on it when I bought it 2 1/2 years ago Guy that owned it before me barely put 5k miles a year on it while I'm averaging a little over 25k miles a year. If only I had some good lakes a little closer. Quote
kylek Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 My wife drives an 06 Dodge Durango with 60k on it. I have an 06 Chevy Colorado with 80k on it. Best thing about them both is that they are paid for!!!! We love not having car payments!!! 1 Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted February 19, 2013 BassResource.com Administrator Posted February 19, 2013 Ok Nitro - what's your secret? I thought I was doing well with my '99 F-250 with 230k on it, and even better when I had my '74 Camaro with 350,000 original miles on it (no rebuild). but you take the cake! How do you get them to last that long before a rebuild? Quote
