Im going to purchase one of these two and would appreciate it if anyone who has used both

can coment on the difference, other than price. Any pros and cons would be appreciated to

help me with my choice. I have used the chronarch but not the Core.

Thanks in advance,

Pete

Lots has been written on both. Do a Google search for both of the reels and read the reviews Tackle Tour has done. They will break down every aspect of the reel better than most anyone can.

The chronarch 50mg is a discontinued reel. Basically the predecessor to the core. Used these reels go for around $200+/- depending upon condition. New I would expect close to $300 given the rarity.

The core is bit lighter in weight. Both cast about the same. The core has a stronger drag and higher gear ratio. Both reels are highly thought of among users.

kickerfish1 pretty much nailed it, all I'll add is the Core will sit much lower on the reel seat and to me is more comfortable and easier to cast because of it.
