One thing that I see in dozens and dozens of posts from people wanting or talking about sponsors is they spell the dang word wrong.

It is SPONSOR not Sponser.

This has to be the most common spelling error on any fishing forum.

There is about 0 chance that a company is going to do anything with you if you ask them for a "sponsership"

It isn't limited to fishermen either.

I see tons of current and former UFC fighters talking about their "sponsers" or "sponcers" on Twitter.

It really drives me nuts.  lol

May have to give those folks a break, they more than likely posted on twitter after getting the snot kicked out of them...LOL

What is more amazing than misspelling a word is leaving it without correction. As spell check is enabled only one's laziness shines through.  Words like to, too and two will slip by as they are spelled right just used in the wrong context, luckily I stayed awake in class.

Almost as irritating as when people tag their own name when they create a new post.

I will make sure I tag yours next time.

LOL, it's okay. I don't have a twitter or facebook for anyone to follow me on. I'm just a regular guy.

Everyone on here is a regular guy (or girl). I believe the tags are for people that use search engines looking for stuff so they get directed to Bass Resource.

I'm a total grammar nazi and i'm proud of it. If you're going to be illiterate, do it in school where your teacher can fix your english.

You do realize by calling this out every post will be scrutinized, right?

Illiterate is not the correct word here either.....I would say that message boards are informal and younger people do not understand when and where to use informal and formal language.

Should the words "Nazi", "I'm", and "English" be capitalized?

You should also keep in mind that some people(me in this case) have english as their second language. Yes I'm in a forum that is in english and I totally respect that but as somebody said, forums are usually informal communication.

Im never rude towards the tourist trying to talk in spanish, I kinda expect the same towards me.

btw the mistakes of youre your  ect happen in spanish with some words and I hate it, its not that hard.
