Bass Yaker Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 I've been having problems with some of my buzzbaits riding on their side. I've tried bending them and that helps some. They also don't track straight. Is there a trick to getting them to track straight and run upright? Thanks Quote
D4u2s0t Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 keep bending them till they run right. The wires get banged up easily, like spinnerbaits. Quote
lightsout Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Try bending the flanges on the bottum of the metal "buzzer", GENTLY. Quote
Revo_Carrot Stix Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 I know you mentioned bending it. Bending the buzzer arm will affect the direction, but it won't do anything to how the bait sits on the water. Have you tried "twisting" the weight while holding the buzzar arm OR are you keeping your rod tip up in the retrieve(like 10 or 11 oclock)? A lot of times when I aim the rod tip down (trying to steer it) I notice the bait will turn sideways. Good luck. Quote
Bass Yaker Posted April 5, 2010 Author Posted April 5, 2010 Thanks guys, I guess I just need to keep playing with them. Quote
