I'm going fishing tomorrow the weather should be nice with a high is 60. Do you have any tips on where I should focus on the lake. The water temp is in the lower 50s, I usually like fishing major drop offs next to the river channel. Should I try this or focus on something else.

Thanks for the help

Welcome aboard! Tell us a little more about your expience, where you are fishing....are you bank bound or using a boat....what methods do you normally fish and more importantly, in what part of the country are you fishing? This kind of information will get you more pointed responses. You can also check the articles above and perform searches on your specific fishing conditions. Good Luck!  :)

I'm from west central Texas I'm going to fish lake O H Ivie. I'm fishing from a boat. I usually fish with a jig, but also like using soft plastics.

Take a look at the seasonal fishing articles and read up on pre-spawn.  Also, take a look at the lake on google maps.  Its very interesting that as you zoom in, the water level drops dramatically.  Its like two different lakes!  I can see lots of good looking points that I'd fish with a jig.  Good luck!

Thanks for the help. The wind was blowing about 25-30 mph so it was really tough and didn't do very well. But still had fun.
