TNBassin' Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I know Norman makes a suspending model, but I have quite a few of the regular kind that I would to have suspend. What's the best way to do this?? Quote

TNBassin' Posted February 15, 2013 Author Posted February 15, 2013 Don't leave me hanging lol. I thought of changing out the hooks to #2s, but I also heard that lead wire wrapped around the hooks works, as well as lead tape. Just didn't know which would give me the best action, or affect the action of the lure the least. Quote
Super User Fishes in trees Posted February 15, 2013 Super User Posted February 15, 2013 Use suspend dots or suspend strips. Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted February 15, 2013 Super User Posted February 15, 2013 I've found that using suspend dots & strips can affect the action of the lure itself. Instead, I like to use fine wire solder wrapped around the forward treble shank. However, to put enough weight on to make it suspend will certainly be a challenge! You'd be better off getting the proper tool for the job. Quote
