I have a tackle made by South Bend. Its medium size and compatible. I love it, but this year I been buying a lot of lures and I need a bigger bag. Whats the best tackle bag? You had or want? Give me details about why its the best tackle bag! Any size bag I will take into consideration. I like to use my tackle bag on boat.

Also what Tackle boxes are the best design for lures? Ive used some plano's. Tell me model number and details of tackle boxes. They will be going into a backpack at times and mostly into tackle bag.

Also wondering whats best spinning tackle box? Model number also.

Thanks if you can answer one of these questions or all! Also pictures are welcomed :Victory:

Not sure how big you need.  I currently own a Havoc Bag which holds 3 3600 and 2 3601 Plano boxes.

If you need something larger I would recommend the Abu Garcia tacklebag.

Both are very durable and hold everything you need.

One key thing about both ... the boxes that come with them generally suck!

I buy Plano boxes to replace them.  Planos come in numerous sizes but for the larger bags the 3700 and 3701's should work fine.

the 3701's are narrower.  Perfect for terminal tackle.

The 3700's you can fill with everything else.

Hope this helps.

By the way I added images and it wouldn't let me post it.  You can easily find them online though.

It's the one that meets your needs the best, with respect to size, number of pockets, pocket configuration and other characteristics.

If you have a BPS near you I would check out the BPS Extreme Qualifier 370. I have and love it. It holds five 3700s in the main compartment and you could probably slide another five 3600 or smaller into the two side and one front compartment.

As for tackle boxes, I use the regular Plano boxes but I have heard good things about the Falcon FTO Elite boxes.

I would second the BPS Extreme Qualifier 370, I own the 360 and it rocks holds more than enough for my needs.  If you require double the amount (360 holds 5 3600) then I'd go with the 370.  A lot of room to store in the side pockets too, I bought it when it was on sale for 14.97.

I have one of these and they are great bags! Mine came with boxes. I use this one and other ones mostly for storage. I use the BPS Extreme Qualifier 360 when I am fishing wading in the river, on bank, or Kayak. If I go out of town to fish, I will take the stalker packed full and pick out of that to fill my qualifier for fishing the area. hope this helps.

I pass by the Chicago BPS everytime I go to and from there and never get a chance to go in. Sigh. It's only 13 hours away from me :eyebrows:

Theres three by Chicago, IL. One is in suburb of Chicago called Boilingbrook, IL, and another is in Gurnee, IL its the biggest one ive seen in northern Illinois. I know theres one in Northwestern Indiana, near east Chicago. Also that one is pretty close.
