Feel the love.Just giving the Croix boys a heads up! Quote
Super User Darren. Posted February 14, 2013 Super User Posted February 14, 2013 I'm a new Croix boy, thanks to scoring a $50 Premier on clearance at DSG's. Bait Monkey satisfied! Don't tempt me further, please! LOL. Quote
Super User MarkH024 Posted February 14, 2013 Author Super User Posted February 14, 2013 I fish them exclusively so I'll be getting in on this deal since I missed it last time around. Got some unused giftcards from Xmas..so it'll be like getting 3 rods for nothing. Picked up brand new Ci4 2500 for an amazing price on ebay. Spring can't come soon enough! Quote

I love the feel of my Premier paired up with my Lexa 100. Great feel. Might even eventually pry my Compres out of my hands. Avid would be my choice there..... Quote
Super User MarkH024 Posted February 14, 2013 Author Super User Posted February 14, 2013 LTB610MLXF is my front runner for the Ci4 right now. I have the Avid 68MXF for a Senko and smaller plastics rod paired with Symetre FJ 2500. I also have a 7' mojo for heavier plastics and jigs that I'm putting a Stradic 2500 FJ to replace an old Quantum Inferno 30 series. Casting rods I have are 2 Triumphs, 2 Mojo, 1 Rage, 2 Premiers. So i'm thinking about taking the leap into the higher ends rods. I could never justify the cost to myself but being that I have gift cards now, I might take the plunge. Quote

TiNuts Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 I've been thinking about taking advantage of this. Can someone compare rage rods to carbonlites? Quote
RyneB Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 SCORE. i was already going to get another Rage casting rod. Was debating on a spinning rod, now its a no brainer. Just need to clear out some of my Skeets. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted February 15, 2013 Super User Posted February 15, 2013 Nice deal but they bumped it up to 300 this time. But I still may pick up a rod or two.... Quote

I had my Gen 2 Revo Premier on my rage rod. I was looking over my stuff and saw the Lexa was similar in color to the Rage rod and wanted to pair it up just to see how it looked. No intentions of pairing them together for the reason, since i love my Revo Premier on the rage. When i paired the Lexa and the rage it was a match made in heaven. So now i need to get another Rage for my Revo Premier. If finances and the wife werent an issue, i would trade all my Revo S's and there matched rods for Lexas and Rage rods. Still love my Premier and MGX though. Quote

Thanks Depends what you like and what your price range is. I use a 7' 6" MH/F LTB for flipping and it's my favorite flipping rod I've owned. Quote
