Anyone else catch Andrew Zimmerman of Bizarre Foods show this past Monday night? The show was mostly about the different ethnic resturaunts in DC, but he had one segment where he had teamed up with some locals to fish for snakeheads in the Potomac river. They went bowfishing at night for them. They locals had a nice rig. A pontoon party boat all tricked out with lights. Of course they had a kick ass chef along with a gas grill on board to cook up the catch.

SPAM !!  SCRAPPLE !!   They had SPAM and Scrapple on the show !!!!   Poor baby didn't like the Spam though.  LOL

I just saw the show...  I've seen that boat launching at Smallwood State park when I come in at the end of the day, they were fishing the Mattawoman Creek for the show.

Don't know if it's the same guy's with the pontoon boat or not, but there are three guy's on the Matt that use two yaks they've rigged together with an elevated platform, two of the guy's work the yaks while one is bowfishing on the platform.  It's really a nice setup for the job...

Agreed, I've seen guy's out in Jon boats with bows.  The pontoon boat was very impressive; it has a good sized power generator and some serious flood lights.  I'm sure it has probably prompted some UFO reports.
