buckeye12 Posted February 12, 2013 Author Posted February 12, 2013 Sorry bout the crappy pic. Not a pic whiz!! Quote
Super User smalljaw67 Posted February 12, 2013 Super User Posted February 12, 2013 Very nice!!!! The center one is my favorite, nice clean collars, great job!!! What size hooks? 2/0 maybe? I tied some fooball heads earlier this year using the same style hook in a 3/0 and the hair was a little more sparse at the hook bend. I really like those, good luck. Quote
Snakehead Whisperer Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Those look top notch. Post pics of your catch. Quote
buckeye12 Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 Thanks guys. The ones pictured are 3/8 oz on a heavy 3/0 hook. Poured some 1/4 and 1/8 heads today and gonna tie some more up tomorrow. Stayed with 3/0 on the 1/4 oz but it's a lighter hook. Used a 1/0 on the 1/8 oz. I'll definitely post pics of any catch on them. Ohio river temps are running about 36 - 37 degrees, hopefully it wont be long! Quote
Super User Munkin Posted February 13, 2013 Super User Posted February 13, 2013 . Ohio river temps are running about 36 - 37 degrees, hopefully it wont be long! This is the best time to use them, I have caught fish on hair jigs down to 33 degrees. Allen Quote
