Decided since I had a little time and the weather was nice, why not go fish for a bit! Had my sights set on a couple places that might give me an opportunity to pull the string. Both place kinda frown on fishermen but since it was Sunday, thought my chances were good I could get a few casts in without too much resistance. Only had one stick and a bag of baits and my covert outing was on! Got to the pond and 3/4 covered with ice, hmmmmmmmmm......... The bank I wanted to try was free so off I go. About 10 casts in and boom, it's on!

Nice little chunk and my day was made! Very next cast I hook up again with what felt like a much bigger fish but pulled off a couple turns of the handle, ugh! Had one othe fish but lost it trying to get it to the bank! Happy to catch one and get some bites! Get out there and make it happen, you just never know until you try! Don't let the ice keep you from giving it a go!!

Nice fish.  Especially in those conditions.
