ncbassfisher1496 Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 I picked up a couple of these at Dicks Sporting Goods today and I was wondering if anyone has tried them out? Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted February 11, 2013 Super User Posted February 11, 2013 I just saw them there as well. I have never seen them prior to then or even heard of them. I've used the regular pad crashers in the past and don't have the complaints that others seem to. Quote
Diggy Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Funny, my friend just bought some today. Is this their version of the Koppers 45t...if you have one in comparison Quote
ChrisAW Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Both the full size pad crasher I bought had the weight fall out of the within the first ten minutes of use, and not even a bite. Thats enough for me to never buy one again. Have NEVER had that problem with any other frog, countless fish on a few of them. Quote
ncbassfisher1496 Posted February 11, 2013 Author Posted February 11, 2013 Which other frog would you recommend? Spro? Koppers? Quote
rbreedi1 Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Ive had nothing short of a great experience with the regular pad crasher. Quote
ClackerBuzz Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 never tried it but on a general note: i'm looking forward to trying a jr frog this season. alot of the time frog fishing can be touchy and i've read so many great posts about jr frogs consistantly working better. ie more committed hits and even big fish go after it. i picked up a jr 1 3/4" 1/5oz frog to try Quote
Super User Felix77 Posted February 11, 2013 Super User Posted February 11, 2013 Just picked it up. That and their new popper frog. Looking forward to trying them out. Quote
ncbassfisher1496 Posted February 12, 2013 Author Posted February 12, 2013 They look like they will work well. I got one in leopard frog and one in the new shad frog color. Quote
