Hey guys,

I have a cousins wedding coming up mid-march down in Florida, So I'm making the drive down from Canada. I've already set up a day on the Big-O with a friend of a friend. Now here is my question while I'm down there I will be staying on Ana Maria island at one of my aunts condos, I'm looking for some local shore spots i can fish while i'm down there! Ponds, Golf courses...whatever!

Now my cousin also lives in the Palmetto area, Whitney Meadows to be exact, she tells me that she has water in her back yard! Anyone know the area? fished it? I'll be down there march 9-15th, bass will be bedding come these times, correct me if I'm wrong? what should i be throwing at these brutes to catch em! Plastics? topwater? moving baits?

Thanks lads!

Brad

I live in South Florida. Where you are mentioning is West Florida. The best advice I can give you is get very familiar with google earth and plan an excursion. Keep it simple, especially if you are only down here for a little while. Lastly, enjoy lake o and have great time.
