Super User LgMouthGambler Posted February 12, 2013 Super User Posted February 12, 2013 Going the 22 to get my free little Bomber collectors lure. After that, drop about $150 on baits and stuff. My wife says NO MORE SHIMANO REEELS! Quote
Restel25 Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Making the Pilgrimage down to Foxboro from Maine next weekend. I really hope the JM Signature Series Spinning Reels are back on sale this year, as I want to pick up another one. Last year they put the new carbonlite spinning reels in their place. Then it will be the usual assortment of Zoom plastics as they're always 25% off. I'd like to see those Mustad KVD Grip Pin hooks on sale. I started using them last year and love them! I got 2 to 3 times the life out of baits I was getting with regular hooks. But I'm most excited because my brother is just getting into bass fishing and this is his first trip, a total virgin! I can absolutely not wait to get him in there and spend his money! The possibilities are endless! Quote

Restel25 Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Engaged, so the newness is still there. He's good for a least a couple of years. Quote
Toeshots Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Hoping the BPS Crankin' Sticks are on sale. Also looking for deals on Senkos, premium fluoro, and maybe Red Eye Shads. Quote
Restel25 Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 I've found that Dick's usally runs a sale on Yamamoto stuff the first weekend of the Classic. If memory serves me right, they're quite a bit less than BPS that weekend. Quote

Flukeman Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Got my flyer today and it has some stuff I need on sale this time around. I am going to be getting a Carbonlite Rod with the rod trade in. Then I'll get some tungsten, line, XTS Rod socks, and some Kermy's! I am sure I will find something else while I'm walking around. Quote
Fisher_C Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Does anyone know if they accept rods that are broken for trade in? Only the top eye lit is broken just wondering b/c its a bass pro rod. Quote
Flukeman Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 I believe they tell you they need to be a working reel and rod because they donate them to kids groups. Quote
