ArcticCat500 Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 What RW said x2. ...That is if you have the stones to actually throw it. : I guess at nearly $30bux, I dont have the stones to even buy it, but the Owner Cultiva Gobo Popper for a 1/3rd the price is very good, it just lacks color choices, the XCalibur Zell-Pop has worked well for me also. along99999 Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Viva Bug Eye Popper in Pearl yellow head or bull frog. Great bait for culling - it only catches bigger bass. http://dannyjoeslures.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=5&pos=15 Don't think, just buy. You can't lose floating baits! Unless you suck at tying knots, of course. Quote

Super User RoLo Posted March 31, 2010 Super User Posted March 31, 2010 There are no bad poppers, but any popper that can't negotiate vegetation, is no favorite of mine. My favorite popper is the "Sizmic 4.25" Floating Pop'N Toad" (mossback). Most importantly, it's totally weedless and can be pitched directly into the surface salad where Big Bertha lives. It can be popped explosively, quietly twitched or buzzed like a freight train. As a bonus, the soft mouthable body does not discourage comeback strikes. Roger Quote
brushhoggin Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 What RW said x2. ...That is if you have the stones to actually throw it. : uh..if by stones you mean cash, then no. thats a work of art not a lure. chug bugs and skitterpops will have to do Quote
RobbyZ5001 Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Gsplash, Skitterpop, chug bug, (Rico's are on my list) Quote
aarogb Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 The G-Splash in size 80 is my favorite, but the Rebel Pop-R has caught me quite a few fish over the years. Quote
