About 3 miles from where we live is a neighborhood with a huge pond stocked with big bass. It is a "residents and their guests only" fishing pond though. I drive there countless times in the last few years and I have never seen a person fishing it. Well, my parents are movin from down the road and they are having a new house built,,,,,,in that neighborhood! I got the clear to fish it and did just that yesterday. The bass were biting swim bait minnows in February with 49 degree water temps here in nc. It is about the size of a football field. :-)

Nice! My neighborhood fishing pond is about half that size with twice the weight of garbage than bass.

Nice!! I've been a guest at a small residential pond before and caught some big fish!!! Mine also was low pressure and the fish would bite just about anything I wanted to throw. I've always wanted to go back but not had the chance - I'm jealous!

Wow! That's an awesome-sounding pond. You're very fortunate to have a place like that.
