Alright, I don't expect this to get quite as much positive response, as the 2014 Vette....

But then, I have to admit, I LOVE my 2008 Ford F150...... So I might be a little bit partial ;)

Now, this is a "concept" truck, so it might not be exactly like this when it comes out. However, so much of the reviews on it have been positive, that Ford would be smart to keep it as close as possible....

PS, Silver is a little boring... better than white I guess. And Supercrews have too much "cab to bed" ratio.... But it will surely be available in a "real truck" style Supercab, and you could always have it painted any fresh, exciting color you can think of :)

I'll take one in black but gotta be diesel.

And I agree about supercrew trucks but I just had a rental 2013 Nissan Titan with the 4 doors and I loved that truck. I need the roomy cab I have kids and I don't haul anything in the bed besides dead critters from hunting.

Posted

Black is okay..... but a little too common... and impossible to keep clean.

If I needed more space than a Supercab, I'd just get an SUV.

Then again, in the big HD trucks (Ford Superduties) Supercrews look great > with an 8ft bed :)

Awesome truck, sign me up for one. Also like the F150 SVT Raptors those are pretty bad ass too, they have a blue color I like.

Posted

Ahhh buddy ! Raptors are the SICKEST trucks you can buy, "right now" ! For a Sport truck, anyway :) I freaking LOVE those things !

I'd love to have one in matte olive green, with 37" tires, and a BIG lift ;)

Yeah but you have to buy the jeep and then pay another 15-20k for the conversion where the factory one is suppose to come in at 25-28k and have all the standard warranty stuff. I think they are even going to put a diesel in there too....

Hey Slonzp, I actually love Toyota Tundra's. Dodges, Chevy's and GMC's too.

I always have to laugh when Chevy owners slam on Fords, or Dodge owners slam on Chevy's, etc...  whatever.

If somebody is handing out new trucks, "Right here ! I'll take one" ! .......then I'll ask what brand it is later :)

Oh, but about that Tundra pulling the Shuttle...... Eh.... Did you know that most bank vault doors weigh several thousand lbs, yet can be closed with the pressure from one finger ?

In totally calm, flat water, a person can walk down on a dock, and push a small ship weighing 100's of tons, away from it with one hand.

Let me see that Tundra pull the shuttle up even a tiny few % grade, and I'll be impressed :)

Peace,

Fish

PS, Mariusz Pudzianowski has pulled 88,000 lb planes, locomotives, busses, etc...... And he just a "little guy" ;) LOL

JB, that's a nice looking Chevy :) Blacked out on red is a great look.

But you said.... "That you actually drive" ? Don't we all actually drive our trucks ?

I wasn't trying to prove a point, just a proud Tundra owner. If I had 150k that F650 supertruck would  be parked in my driveway.

You and I both bro ! Those custom F650's are the sickest thing to ever roll on the public streets !

Oh hey, BTW, I was actually going to get a Tundra, as like I said, I really like them too. But the dealers around here were being "totally hard to deal with". In a nut shell, they said, "This is what we have in stock.... in these (lame) colors, in these (lame) packages, and if you want anything special ordered, or the new years model, its going to cost you a stupid amount over the top of what the cost already is.

Part of all of this ^ was my own poor timing. It was near the end of clearence time, and they were trying hard to get rid of what they had left in stock. Granted, I could have waited a month or two, and got an 09 instead of an 08..... but that would have cost several thousands more $ too :(

But anyway, I ended up getting my F150, with a window sticker price of $31K, for $23 :) And I love it too :) So I guess it all worked out.

I'm pretty happy with my "real" half ton that I actually drive.

Good looking truck but you need some fender flares or something to set off all the red body.  Also, do you find yourself rubbing the tires when the suspension is being compressed?  Doesn't look like to much clearance there but pictures can be decieving.  I know i had to trim my back fender wells on my wrangler so i wouldn't rub when offroading.

I was thinking "more black" somewhere too.

Oh, side step bars for sure !!! I love mine, and my truck is not even lifted. I actually use them all the time, to stand up higher than my truck and shoot (photos) over my roof.... or washing the roof, or whatever. Your truck being a lifted 4wd, needs them even more !

Just MPO.

I had the step bars on my jeep but they kept getting banged up when off road so i took them off and went for some rock rails instead.

Hey BTW, I don't know what I was thinking when I said, "Sickest half ton truck ever"........

Everybody knows this is the "Sickest half ton truck ever" :) LOL

I like it way better with the camo kick panels.... But I like this shot taken at Bodega Bay a lot too :)

Here's the front end.... looks better (cleaner) now, without the license plate ;)

And what is a truck... or any vehicle, without a little sound system, right ;)

Fender Flares are kind of goofy looking. I **** the all solid look after a truck has been de-badged and had all the moldings taken off. I have only had rubbing issues on a couple of occasions on real bad angles while in full lock. It is a 5" RCX lift with BIlsteins adjusted 1" up for a total of 6". Running 305/55/20 (33x13)

I had black nerf bars on it, but I also didn't like the way they looked as soon as my Son was old enough to climb in by his self, I took them off.

Redline, Holy #$#$ ! I've always loved Raptors..... but a Hennessey tuned one ? 590bhp ?!?!  That's just bad a** !

Alright, mine ain't quite that cool ;) ..... but I bet mine has a nicer stereo system ;) LOL

Hey now, I have actually been kind of dreaming of one, with a good lift, 37"s, and painted sage green matte, blacked out ;)

Theirs a couple nice black ones here in town..... But they are going for like $45-52K as is. Can't imagine what that Hennesey tuning would cost ? Then paint, lift, 37"s.... I could see a toy like this running $100K before it was all finshed. Lots iog $$$ for a poor guy....

Peace,

Fish

Edit: Redline, I hadn't even looked at the vid when I first posted this ^..... Geez, that thing sounds so mean :)

$69K !

Oh.... but it should be a Supercab ;)
