I recently was given a bunch of lures by my neighbors. Most of them were soft plastics and spoons, but they gave me a handful of really nice bass baits ( jerkbaits, crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and some very cool topwaters). I posted a pic of them and it turns out that because one of them is in perfect condition, it's worth more as a "collectors item" than a "usable lure". So I'm putting this post up to see what the members of Bass Resource might have in their "secret boxes", what the stories behind them are, and what they might be worth.

I have some old knuckle busters with a patent date around 1900, they're in storage right now. Also some old creek Chubb lures, also in storage, I hate renting lol.

I doubt these would be considered vintage but here Is a  picture of four(4) baits that have great sentimental value.

The baby bass crankbait was the first balsa crank I bought. It was in a small tackle shop right outside of Clarksville AR.

The other three (3) were given to me on the first two or three trips out bass fishing In '81. The Angel Eye (bottom right hand corner) was the bait I caught my first bass on. I caught seven(7) that day and It hooked me on this great sport forever.

That Bagley small fry in LMB Chartreuse is one of my favorite cranks Bagley produced. I still have two and they work great in rivers around here.

Awesome, those are some really cool lures. I would be interested in seeing lures that have sentimental value or stories behind them.
