fstr385 Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 uh.. Im not mad, I could care less. Post everything I said if you wish. Just stating exactly what it seemed to me, and said I thought that was lame. Thats all. Quote
H00kedOnBass Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 Lame I'm sharing my best spot? Gotcha Quote
CountBassula Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Gentleman, we're not in high school anymore! Quote
fstr385 Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 there is no facepalm icon?! dont care, dont care, dont care. tell everyone. Im sure they didnt know it was there. those ponds are really hidden. Im happy its in the open now. Read slowly.. maybe a few times. You said keep it a secret, then posted it.... lame. I just put a picture of exactly what ya said, with a red oval around it, then you posted it. Said keep it a secret, posted it, lame . secret, post, lame. Still dont care, even right now if you tell anyone, or who knows, or if 800 post were made about it. I dont care. We exchanged places, you gave me one super obvious one, I continued on being nice NOT CARING, but you told me dont tell anyone and then posted it. Why even PM me about it, you could have just made your thread, and asked for more places to fish, and a bunch of people would have responded. There was more motive to it. If I mesage a random guy on here and say hey blah blah exchanged info blah blah.. try this lure, its caught me lots of fish, its my secret dont tell anyone, then went into the tackle section and said hey everyone this is my best lure, it caught me a bass 2 lbs smaller than Im claiming!!!!! that guy I messaged would probably be like "I don't understand did he message me that for then?!" Has the big crayon picture been seen yet? I hope so because Im done with this conversation. Quote
H00kedOnBass Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 Yes I did tell you to keep it a secret because up until that point I have never shared that spot with no one. Amazing how you claim it to be such an "obvious" spot yet no one on here has ever fished it nor did they think it even had fish in it! By the way that fish was 1 ounce away from 8 pounds. I have a scale on me at all times. Didn't know I would have to provide proof of its weight. For someone who claims they don't care, your initial post and all the other seems to prove otherwise my friend. You seemed like a really cool guy from our pm conversations but now you just come off as a ****** who like to call ppl out on pointless s**t then say they don't care. Get a life man seriously Quote
H00kedOnBass Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 Anyways, this got completely off topic. Anyone else have luck fishing off of the turnpike? Quote

Super User SirSnookalot Posted February 13, 2013 Super User Posted February 13, 2013 I did fish a turnpike pond near my home the other day, the pond was lifeless and the canal adjacent produced only 1 fish, but a good one. Quote
Shane Procell Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Is there still a launch big enough for a startos to launch from along the turnpike? Heard that there was and it was closed. Just curious. 1 Quote

OkeechobeeAngler Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 I have fished them and the ones off 95 from PB county to Indian Rive county and have had great success. Quote
aceofspades Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 had to drive up to orlando for work yesterday, and drove back today. there is a lot of fishy looking water the whole way up and back. Quote

Heard that there was and it was closed. Just curious. Shane, you have to go to 18st and go N on Boca Rio Rd, then turn off the right just as you get off the down slope of the road. Im not 100% sure the Stratos will dip, I know the Gheenoe would have. You have a 4X4 Jeep, so you may be OK. 1 Quote
BassingNick Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Was able to get out this morning and fished one of the ponds at the 120th st exit down in Miami. Absolutely killed them on a watermelon seed fluke. 1 Quote
H00kedOnBass Posted February 28, 2013 Author Posted February 28, 2013 Went to the sample pond for a quick session before going to school. Only had about an hour. Took awhile for them to bite but i lost atleast 4 good ones then finally landed one. Quote
Reagan Donohue Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 I am going on Friday and probably going to throw some swimbaits and worms. Does anyone know if there are any Shad in those waters to get in my cast net? Thinking about fishing in the picture. Quote
Super User geo g Posted December 11, 2019 Super User Posted December 11, 2019 Never thought this topic would draw much attention. These lakes all along the expressways are often deep, clear, and low fishing pressure. One thing I always look for are some areas with grasses and pads that provide shade, breeding areas, and ambush points. The further south you go in the state, many of these have a good population of peacock bass also. Thanks for the original post! Quote
