Comfortably Numb Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 I hate to disagree with arguably the best fisherman in the world but, I found a longer leader works better in the cold water where the bait can drift slowly a little freer and more natural. I also wish he discussed leader material and size, and hook and bait choices. Quote

My reasoning is when fish are less aggressive, I don't want them to feel the weight too quickly after they pick up the bait. But what do I know, I am just a weekend fisherman. Quote
