jhoffman Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I cant see your picture but I will go with no, theyre $5, more trouble than its worth Quote
Super User J Francho Posted February 6, 2013 Super User Posted February 6, 2013 Probably time to buy a new one. I can't see the pic either, but what happened? Quote
Snakehead Whisperer Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Access denied. Your pic is not publicly accessible. You can probably see it because you're signed in to Evernote. Quote
WhiteMike1018 Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 The point of the hook and barb broke off of it But the prop and skirt and everything is so nice..shame to just throw it out Quote
Super User Munkin Posted February 7, 2013 Super User Posted February 7, 2013 Steal the blade and skirt off the bait and save for later. You could remelt the head and pour another but it would not be worth the trouble. Allen Quote
Megastink Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 On my cavitron buzzbait Look up Bobby Uhrig on this forum; he is the founder/CEO of Megastrike/Cavitron. I'm sure he'll make this right. Quote
CPBassFishing Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Bobby uhrig will probably get you a new one, but you could just put a small, stout 2/0 or 3/0 trailer hook on and bend the broken hook over. Put a small 4" grub on the trailer hook and you'll get them on it most of the time. Fish mostly always go for the back of something unless they completely inhale it. (Or if they just bump it) 2 Quote
WhiteMike1018 Posted February 7, 2013 Author Posted February 7, 2013 How did that even begin to happen? Im not even sure, it happened a long time ago..maybe 2 years and i set it aside....but I just now cleaned out all my fishing stuff so wanted to see if it could be repaired Quote
Super User J Francho Posted February 7, 2013 Super User Posted February 7, 2013 Time for a new one. Quote
RODNEY Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Send it back and see if they will replace it. Rodney Quote
Christian M Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Just buy a new one & save the blade & skirt as spares 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted February 20, 2013 Global Moderator Posted February 20, 2013 Cut the hook back to around the start of the bend of the hook, put either a treble or spinnerbait trailer hook on whats left of the hook and use pliers to bend the old hook closed around the new hook eye. You can even use a EWG worm hook and put a grub or swimming tail worm on the back of it also. Quote

jhoffman Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Sounds to me like a recipe to lose a really big fish at a moment that you dont need to lose a big fish. Take $20, order three more and junk it. Quote
