wademaster1 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Got this brookie yesterday. It hit a Charlie Bee jig. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted February 7, 2013 Super User Posted February 7, 2013 Brookies are the most beautiful freshwater fish in my mind. Quote
wademaster1 Posted February 7, 2013 Author Posted February 7, 2013 They are beautiful, and fight as hard as any fish I've battled this far. Quote
Super User Tuckahoe Joe Posted February 7, 2013 Super User Posted February 7, 2013 Nice! Had a lot of fun this fall/winter catching trout myself. Gonna go out next Thursday for some Valentines Day trout fishing with my girlfriend. Kind of like our present to each other. Im so glad I have a woman that enjoys fishing. Quote
Super User Darren. Posted February 12, 2013 Super User Posted February 12, 2013 Yeah, that's a nice catch, man. Quote
CoBass Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Brookies are the most beautiful freshwater fish in my mind. Brookies are beautiful fish. Our Fish and game guys have recently started stocking tiger trout. They are a hybrid brookie/brown. Very cool looking fish that are very aggressive predators. They stock them to thin out populations of stunted brook trout. http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6099/6337603955_6e6633b8d9_z.jpg 1 Quote
wisconsin heat Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Very nice sized brook! I get a month of trout fishing starting Saturday! I can't wait, it helps lessen the cabin fever. Quote
