Have any of you had the chance to use this product yet?   I wonder if it would hold up on a boat?  It seems like a home boat wrap kit in a can.  I can definately see myself trying a few cans on my trailer.

That's a first for me.

Pretty cool stuff.

I liked the way it looked before he pulled it off . . . . . .

I wonder if i could use it to keep the sides of my kayak clean.  I doubt it is durable enough for use on teh bottom but who knows.

It looks very temporary to me, at best.  I doubt that would last long following a car down a gravel road without the spray coating getting all chewed up.  I think a few rolls of painters tape would be just as, if not more, effective at preventing paint chips and bug splatter.  The cost of a can of that Armor all stuff is $50, that'll buy you about 10-12 rolls of wide painters tape that you could put on and then take back off when you are finished with the road trip...Sure it'll be blue, but that black doesn't look that much better...

I checked their website and it said it was only 16.99 a can and 14.99 if you buy three.  Coverage is obvisouly the limiting factor on how many cans you need.  I might give it a whirl....

Ahh, never mind...I saw the price for the winter kit they sell on AA's website for $50

And now I do see they sell it in different colors (white, gray, black and clear).  Just doesn't seem that durable to me.  Now if Rhino lining came out with something that was removable they'd be onto something...that stuff is tough as nails, even bomb proof!

Just looked at the Armor all website and it is made to leave on until you decide to pull it off.  I guess those of you up North need some winter protection!  Down here we need it for BUGS!

I'm not partial to either, but it seemed to me that the guy in the plasti dip video shook the armorall can a lot more and stretched the armorall product a lot more.

For what it is worth I plasti dipped my wheels on a 4runner I used to have.  I mainly did it as a temporary thing to see if I liked black wheels before I actually bought black wheels.  After almost 2 years (2 winters with road treatments and 2 seasons of fishing and hauling a boat down dirt/gravel lake roads) there was just no need for me to replace them with actual black wheels.  They held up amazingly well.
