Everyone,

Of those of you that own and use these, I have a question. I just purchased 2 of these from TW. I have never used the internet to buy a rod. I have 3 Vendetta's already, the first generation. Before I decide to send these back or make adjustments to them I want to know this.

On both rods, the first 3 guides after the tip top guide are not at 90 degree angles to the rod, they are between 90 and 45 degrees, they appear to be somewhat laid down. Is this how the Vendetta 2's are? I am pretty sure I can just adjust the eyes to get them to sit right, or I guess I can send them back and get a refund and just spend a little more for some other rods at Gander Mountain or Dicks.

Let me know what you guys think, the rods feel great, super light weight, the action is what I expect from Abu on the Vendetta model, just not sure if they are trying something new with the guides that I did not know.

Thanks, other than the the order is in great shape, however I would assume that they would pack the rods in more protective shipping material than just a plastic bag with 2 inches of bubble wrap on the tip....

As long as they are in a straight line down the rod, I would just bend them back and start fishing.  My Veritas that I bought at a store was the same way.

Yep that is by design, supposed to help the line flow through easier.
